Default .300 blackout loaders chime in.

just purchased an upper... and a set of dies from redding,

components.... what did u buy and where did u get 'em....

I really don't want to hand make a bunch of brass...

and can I get a good projectile to start with. I have some 168gr and 175gr handy... but thought 130-155gr would be fitting....

let me know... Happy New Year all!

midwayusa.com search .300 blackout

brass is easy to make, all of those .223 cases w/ split necks perfect candidates for your blackout. cheaper than buying factory brass, i really don't know anyone that does this, although it would be neat to see the blackout headstamp, i have never bought factory ammo so have never seen one up close.

I have an old M1S .300 Whisper. I have the Redding (expensive), the Hornady (less expensive) and am buying the Lees b/c the other two get galled up when seating tumble lubed lead bullets. I am thinking the Lees will be easier to clean.

get the Lee factory crimp die for jacketed bullets.

Buy some Re 7 , AA1680 for heavy bullets. H110/W296 or LilGun for lighter bullets.

search for 300 aac blackout forum or the old .300 whisper forums

You can buy 300BLK brass, and there are people who sell cut down .223 formed into 300BLK, but it'll still probably run you $300+ plus.
I made about a 1000 out of range brass earlier this year over the course of two days. It's not a lot of work, and there are plenty of youtube videos and web tutorials to look at.

I like running 125 gr in mine.

I use 147gr m80 surplus with cut down 223 range brass and h110 or Lil gun. Get 1 moa at 100 yards and reach speeds of 2100fps. Great cheap plinking round at .13-.14 a piece.

I've been researching it. This guy isn't bad price wise and currently has some in stock. I have not used him, just found the site.
