Default Listing location in Private Sales marketplace title

A suggestion for sellers - please list your location in the thread title when listing an item. It makes a LOT easier to find things when you need to do a FFT

I can understand for cars, but for guns stuff that is all easily ship-able I don't see why that would be necessary.

A private party transfer of a firearm needs to be done in person

You just have to ship to an FFL right?

Correct, a seller could ship from their FFL to the buyer's FFL dealer of choice, but like I said....some just refuse to ship.

If a seller refuses to ship, they should be required to list their location. But that's too much to ask for right?

I think most people would prefer to be able to do an in person inspection first before purchasing something like a gun. Also, FFL transfers add considerably to the cost

Also, many guns sold here are not on the roster. Many users here cannot have those guns simply shipped to them.

It's hard to keep up with the private sales forum and maintain full time employment.

Yes, otherwise the FFL "takes possession" of it and is bound by the same rule as his off roster stock (SSE or sell only to exempt people).
