Default Looking for FFL who can receive a firearm from non-licensed shipper in 93906

Looking for a FFL who can receive a firearm from non-licensed shipper in Salinas, CA 93906.

I am the shipper who does not have FFL and trying to ship a shotgun from SoCal to NorCal.
Problem is my buyer can't find the dealer who is willing to receive a firearm from a non-licensed person.

My understanding is I am legal to ship a firearm to FFl dealer without having me going through a FFL on my side.

But this is my first time shipping to a FFL dealer so I am not sure so if I am wrong please let me know.

I am trying not to pay extra fee by using FFL dealer to ship a long gun.

I really appreciate your advise in advance.

Yes, it is legal for you to ship a firearm directly to a FFL.

I don't know of any FFLs up in that area, so you might want to put it on the buyer to find a FFL. Also, if you are forced to ship through a FFL, that is something the buyer should have to pay for since it is not required and the buyer should find a FFL who does not require that.

Kemasa,
Thanks for your confirmation.
I will still look for FFL who will help my buyer in NorCal. Just want to help him out.

I understand, but your buyer might be a bit more motivated if it is going to cost him more if he does not help.

You could use gunbroker.com to check out if there are any FFLs listed there for the area that you are searching for. Other sites also have lists.

Did you look at:

I have been denied by 4 FFL's so for and have left messages with 5 other FFL's. I would be willing to travel up to the Bay Area if there are any FFL's that will receive the gun. Just going to keep widening my search area.

Thanks.
