Greetings,
I just wanted to give you the heads up on Villageidiot. With all the panic buying of late, I started looking for ammunition for our troop's event in June. We normally have 2-3 troop join us out at Burro Canyon for this event. Villageidiot, upon hearing about our outing, donated the remaining 22lr ammunition to our troop in Costa Mesa. I had no idea he was going to do this. I tried to pay him, but he wanted nothing to do with it and insisted on donating to the scouts. He's a credit to Calguns and a great guy.

Best regards,
870Classic

Hey guys, hope I'm not going off thread but I have a few bulk boxes of rem. 22lr that my rifles don't like and was gonna sell 'em during this frenzy but donating to the scouts sounds like a great idea. Any idea who I might contact? I'm in Sacramento area. Didn't know the scouts had a shooting program. Nothing like that when I was a scout.

We have just started collecting ammunition for the outing in June. Last year we had three troops and about 35 boys participate. We burned through around 2500 rounds of 22lr. Villageidiot provided 583 rounds, and I have about 1000 rounds left over from last year. At the moment, I think we are looking good. The buying Frenzy should subside within a month or two and we should have more than enough time to obtain more ammo.

Thank you. Please support your local Boy Scout Troop's shooting program. Their our next generation of responsible shooters and leaders.

Cheers,
