Well, I might aswell bite the bullet can you add 1-15A, 1-15UA if the AR15 uppers are available. So my complete order should be for:

1x15A
1x15UA
1x10A
1x10UA

And thanks for doing this, were probably driving you crazy by now.

If it is not too late to add to my original order, I'll take 4 more 15w. Otherwise, put them in the second round.
Thanks,
Greg

If still open, put me down for (2) AR15 anodized (yes, I have read Rorge Retson's update below) 80%s

and I'll see you at the next build party, since this one seems booked (but if openings happen, lemme know!). I can pick up at the build party, since I live in Carlsbad, or shipping if it's easier for you.

Thanks!

If you were to use it in the field, and fell on it, a 6061 is more likely to crush and/or be damaged than a 7075. So I was just wondering why what they sell us is not what they sell with their own stamped name on it. I would prefer to not have just a pretty bench gun, especially since this is an heirloom only weapon.

So, until confirmation, I guess I will have to be put down for:

80% Lowers-
1- AR10 W
1- AR15 W

Uppers (if/when available)-
1- AR10 W
1- AR15 W

Thanks, PM me if you need to

Default ANODIZING GROUP BUY UPDATE

Everyone –

After considerable research and numerous shop visits, I have secured us a price of $16 per piece to be anodized (upper and/or lower). The shop I have chosen is well-respected and established (20+ years in business), having previously done volume work on similar components for other manufacturers.

The $16 price comprises everything necessary to make our QD uppers and lowers 100% complete, finished, and ready to assemble, including the following:
  • Full bead blast to remove all machining marks
  • MIL-A-8625 Type III, Class 2, Hard Coat Anodizing
The work this shop does is first-rate. I saw their finished products in person and their quality rivals the best I have seen. I brought in a Mega Arms lower for reference, and I will say that their anodizing looks at least as good – if not better – than Mega’s work.

I will post more details soon, but wanted to get pricing information to everyone so you can make a decision to either order anodized, or raw (white) lowers from QD in this group buy.

Please update your order in this thread ASAP so AIMSMALL can send in our updated order tonight or tomorrow morning.

Please add 2 more of the 15A to me.

If they need to go into the second group, that is OK.
