Angry Everyone is out of Small Pistol Primers

I finally bought a reloading rig after thinking about it for 14 years...
Now everyone seems to be sold out of small pistol primers

Goddamit!

...that is all

I'll sell you a 100 pack for $50.

Just kidding, I'm keeping them for myself.

I was just in my LGS, and they were still pretty well stocked. Just need to shop around.

I just assumed if the mail order guys were out that the local guys probably were too.
Frankly I'd rather deal with a local shop for those.
I'll check Reeds the day after tomorrow... maybe I'll get lucky.
G-Man - thank you for the offer. I'll try to exhaust the local options before asking for favors.

Check local. Store in town had plenty yestreday but my online sources are running out. I got 20,000+ assorted CCI'S and keep this many at all times after the 2008 shortage.

Why do people not put their actual location in their profile?

If you guys did, and you were close, some generous person near you might offer to share their stash, but since I can't tell where you are, nevermind.

Just because a online vendor is out at the moment, doesn't mean they are gone forever. Place an order for a bunch and it'll arrive sooner than later.

Wild Sports in Orangevale has some, but they're limiting each person to 1000.

Federal 100's... I picked up a box while I was putting a new Glock 21SF in jail...

Merry Christmas to me!!!!

I bought a couple thousand LRP from Angeles today. They looked to have a good stock still. $31/k for Winchester Wolf was a little more for some reason.

Not with small pistol primers. Unless you get APS strips, or the Federal Match primers. The regular ones are gone. I saw a place that just restocked today, and had all primers I could ever want....but selling for $40/1000. Not worth it imho.

I guess match primers would work. And you could make APS strips work, even without an RCBS feeder

$32.99, I think...

I went back in the afternoon and got a second box, so I'm good to go now.

In Tracy it will be Tracy Rifle and Pistol by the mall. In Stockton it would be Outdoor Sportsman. I would call first before making a trip..

Nah the reloading store at Angeles.

They had stuff when I was there last week, but evidently this weekend the vultures went crazy.

I'm trying not to hoard...but it would be tough not to buy a little powder when I'm out there

for powder go thru powder valley inc

pricing on winchester and Vihtavuori is decent and trust me for pistol; you just cant go wrong with Vihtavuori and its is one of the best and you cant find there here in Komifornia.

I'm ordering 20lbs of VV in a couple of days.
