Default AMSEC door adjustment

Wanted to know if anyone has experience with adjusting the door on an AMSEC. My door just recently started dragging. The bottom left corner (non-hinged side) just started dragging on the bottom sill of the safe causing the paint to chip.

I see there are single Allen screws at the bottom of each hinge. I would assume adjusting those will raise the door. However should I use a jack to raise the door and relieve pressure before adjusting screws?

Thanks in advance.

You don't need to relieve pressure, just turn the screws.

I called them and they were not a wealth of info. Liability issues. The customer service guy suggested the door alone was 800 lbs and has been known to crush people. He advised I utilize nearest distributer to service it.

Thanks for info. Wasn't sure if the bolts could withstand direct pressure from the weight of the door while being turned.

Thanks again.

floor jack if you ahve one just to help take some of the pressure off..if you want.

get a big allen head and adjust. I have done this one 1000lb+ tl rated doors. 800ld door should handle it just fine.
do a 1/8-1/4 turn at a time, just make small even adjustments.

Yep, you can just lift the door up with the allen screws. Let me know if you have any issues and I can help you out.

Prob BF series safe, Door weights make up a decent amount of the weight of a safe usually. easieset way to tip a safe is to open the door and put some weight on it
