Default Rainer Arms

Just wanted to spread this stinky cheese,

Rainer Arms makes these huge claims about there barrels.

People associate them with Noveske.

LOTS of misinformation posted here and there, people read it and repeat it....

BS.

I got the ''Polygonal'' rifled barrel from Rainer, a 16'' polygonal rfiled barrel so they say....

ITS NOT POLYGONAL.
NO way No how.
ITS NOT.

So they have a ''money back guarantee'' and ''if you dont like it for any reason send it back for a full refund''

SO lets see if that is an honest company that backs up their word.

I contacted them and asked to send it back for a refund, citing that it is not as advertised.

I have several of their barrels and they're all polygonal. John runs a good shop and really does stand by the gear.

I've been shopping there for awhile & have never had a bad experience, including on the phone. The Noveske Reece I bought awhile back has been so good I sold my DD. After shooting my Reece, I never picked up my DD again!!! Only for a PPT.

I've ordered from them before and contacted them by phone couple of times without any problems. You shouldn't have a problem dealing with them.

I think they're the largest volume distributor of DD in the country. I could be wrong, but that's what I heard. If you don't like their barrel, give them a chance to correct it. Call first & be decent about it. I usually call a place before I drop a lot of cash, they've been great to me.

Another positive here for Rainier. Purchase several items from them. One was a Noveske lower which was sent to BSP.

They are probably one of the better companies out there. You are the one we all need to watch. My spidey sense tell me you are the problem.

I bet John will bend over backwards for you even if you are 100% wrong.

Then we will see who has integrity.

Yea.. If I was Rainer and saw this post I'd tell him to stuff the barrel.. lol

How about contact the company and THEN cry a river on the interweb? I know, crazy concept..

In any event I would put more money on the OP not seeing the poly barrel than Rainer lying about it.

Actually done a fair bit of business with Rainer. They are always pleasant, usually quick and have good prices.

Yes, they think highly of their branded components but I'd be suspect if they felt any other way.

+1 for Rainer in my book.

Lots of fan responses, good sign.
I have contacted them, expecting delayed response.

I am sure they are good barrels but in now way is this product that is described as polygonal a polygonal barrel.

I have worked on various programs as a contractor for aecom taecom, JPO, GD, MT and so on, from CROWS systems to small arms depots, I know a thing or two about guns as a working professional and these are not polygonal.

Doesn't take a genius I can hold my SR9 barrel next to it an eyeball the obvious difference.

Ive had a few good transactions with Rainier as well. I don't understand why the OP would expect the worst AND complain on the interwebs before making contact with the company. Give us an update AFTER you've at least made contact. I think these "shoot first, ask questions later" threads just piss people off and can tarnish hard earned reputations undeservingly.

Our select barrels are polygonal. We have 3 different OEM barrels and they all come with a 90 Day - 100% satisfaction guarantee. We sell hundreds tp thousands of RA barrels per month and we wouldn't have the reputation if we sold second class products. We are in the middle of an office move but we'll be reopen on Wednesday. Ultimately, we want you to be happy so please send it back for a full refund!

No way, I have your ''select Polygonal Rifled Barrel'' Its not, you have a very LOOSE definition of polygonal...

Please be so kind as to define a polygonal rifling and then post a picture of your barrels ''Polygonal Rifling''

I had no idea you guys were on CGN!

As Rainer posted, if your not happy with their product, send it back. No internet drama, no hurt feelings, etc. Question has been asked and answered. I am now going to ask that this thread be locked.

Daniel Defense & others, in their manuals will state things like "If you ever have a problem with our products, we'd like to be the first to know" I know for a fact DD does it & I took them up on it. They sent me a Hat & T-shirt. People would rather gripe than devote energy to a solution.

So awkward, how some people take this simply thing so personally. You guys should not let bother you so much, its just a forum....

I posted my findings of the barrel I never even said anything negative about the barrel other than the fact that it is NOT polygonal.

I am disappointed that it is advertised as Polygonal but it is actually not Polygonal because I paid too much for a stainless steel barrel that is actually just button pulled, thinking it was polygonal, SS 1/8 everything I like..... but its not.... see...

I could have bought a citadel or ss barrel for less than half of what I paid for the rainer and it would have had the same performance. And yes I can and do get Citadel/other Barrels for about the same price of what I paid for them last year and yes I do get a very good prices on them, about cost from certain vendors who know me well and I trade with, even now in this market. No citadel is not the best but I am not a huge AR fan so it would just be a for fun gun if I could not get the same performance out of it as I would out of an HK build.

Its not polygonal, very disappointing....

I did contact the company first and waited and contacted several times after that and waited..... and waited I though that was do to a lingering affect of people emailing and calling for back orders and stuff like that.

stay cool, calm and collected....

I'm assuming you know, since you've worked on various programs as a contractor, that there are two types of polygonal rifling, right? If not, I suggest you google female vs male polygonal rifling before you start making accusations...well, too late for that.

Stay cool, calm and collected? You tarnish Cal Guns with your unnecessary little girl drama against one of the best companies on the planet? And you come off as a FOOL......

Please. Don't update us. You've embarressed yourself enough. And yes, we do take it personally.
