Default PINK magpul is out

Facebook says they are shipping it. I need a grip, forearm, and stock. If anyone sees them in stores, please let me know.

Christmas present for the mrs.

PSA has a pink furniture set in stock but it isn't Magpul. I think the PSA color is a nicer looking pink, the Magpul kinda looks like Pepto Bismol. It's a great gift idea for sure.

I bought pink AR furniture (by Tapco) for my wife's AR at Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga. I spray painted the magazines, riser and top scope ring.

I'm looking for at least one set of the magpul as well, but haven't found it anywhere (online or local to me). I realize they are shipping it to dealers, but it would be nice to know what dealers it's going to.

"They" say that 90% of all the "pink gun stuff" is bought BY men FOR women. When in reality most women just want to be like the guys and get the black/two tone/whatever finish.
Just make sure you consult the Mrs before you get her some Barbie pink gun thingees.

Were my wife interested in rifles I would definitely let her pick out the furniture. However this is more of a "just in case" purchase for my daughter. Who's got quite a few more years to go before she's old enough to go to the range with her own rifle.

My little girl told me she wanted pink. Pink she gets. When she's old enough to shoot it, she can choose the pink, or if she has changed her mind, she can use my black stuff, and I'll shoot the pink stuff, or she can get whatever other color she wants. I don't spoil my daughter in many ways, but when it comes to getting her into shooting, consider me twisted around her little finger.

Stopped by Parallax today and talked with Joe. He hadn't heard that they were shipping it yet. He ordered one set (or more?) from his distributor, and I walked out 30 min later with a pre-order. If you are in SD area and dead set on getting these, talk to Joe. He didn't gouge, either. List price, and tacked on the CG discount. GREAT service (once again) from these guys. I prefer to buy local, so this was a bonus.

If you are not local to San Diego, I did see Exile Machine listing them on their site, but as "sold out"/"on order" and I'm not sure what that means exactly...(did they actually sell out, or are they just not in yet?). Prices @ Exile were a tad lower, but once you factor in shipping, wasn't much difference. This way, I know that if Parallax gets them in, I'm first in line. If Exile gets them...they'll probably be gone before I could get in on it, but it might be worth it to you to at least try and order them from them.

Just showed my wife that, it'll suck shooting a pink AR in a few months but it'll be an SBR that she said she wanted.

Now she said she'd rather have a pink hipoint 995ts cause she likes the hipoint better, but i think that has to do with the LOP as i have a fixed stock. now i'll have to keep the SBR for myself.

I tried painting a few USGI mags a few years ago and after painting them they would no longer drop free. well saying they wouldn't drop free is being nice, after having to cram them in, they damn near wouldn't come out.

How did the light color hold up over time? if you take a look at the 9mm carbine link in my sig i found the lighter colors got dirty quick and looked awful after long use.

Ps
that looks awesome!

The color is holding up fine. The first magazine I painted wouldn't drop freely but it wasn't hard to pull out. I removed the paint on the top half of the mag, then it just drops right out when I push the bullet button. It's how the wife wanted it to look, she's happy happy happy

Looks like Brownell's is getting it too. Magpul needs to release PMAGs, trigger guard and MBUS in the same color. I would buy a set and sport it during breast cancer awareness month

just kidding man...i'm in need of pink furniture for the wife too. I like the magpul stuff better than the tapco stuff too, but I think it'd be more practical to go the spray paint route.

Hehe. I didn't like the tapco stuff either.

I had to buy it anyways (building the rifle for her), so it made since to buy it pink, instead of x color & paint it.

Exactly. My wife would not get caught dead with a pink AR. She likes her rifles and her pistols evil black.

Some tween/teenage girls might enjoy a pink AR though.

In my case she asked for the pink. Then she has expressed interest in wood furniture too. We will go pink for Christmas, then work from there. She thinks the pink is cool. It'll keep me from shooting it. I think.
