Default Non-corrosive surplus 7.62X54

Southern Ohio Gun's (SOG) recent flyer and website show surplus Bulgarian 7.62X54 ammo in tins that is supposedly Berdan primed and non-corrosive.

http://www.southernohiogun.com/ammo-...2x54-ammo.html

For some reason, I thought all the surplus 7.62X54 was corrosive.

Anyone know for sure?

I shoot corrosive out of my Mosin's but prefer non-corrosive for the SVT-40 as the gas system takes quite awhile to clean well.

I certainly would treat it as corrosive. All the Bulgarian I have seen has all been corrosive.

Yeah, I know, but don't care about that.

It's the corrosive I'd rather avoid with the gas system on the SVT.

My instincts tell me that this is probably corrosive, despite the advertising.

Parallax Tactical sells that same ammo. I assumed it was corrosive but they should be able to give you a definite answer.

FWIW I think I read it has corrosive primers, but really, who the heck knows.

I'd treat it as corrosive personally.
