Sounds great! It's always a good thing to purchase something and love it. Congrats once again!

Good news, thanks for sharing this. Do you know if it will be indoor or outdoor?

Default SGV Chapter - Roll Call

Hope they'll allow drawing from a holster, rapid fire and steel plates.

That will probably be a negative. Steel plate friendly ranges seem to be rare in LA county

Doing fine, thanks for asking.

I just discovered this section. Currently living in Alhambra as a novice shooter.

Hopefully I'll get to see at least some of you guys in the near future!

That sounds awesome! I just read that you guys go shooting every month or so. I'd like to attend soon.

Unfortunately, I'm working this Saturday. I get a new schedule every week so maybe one weekend I'll be free. Thank you for the invitation!

I heard some CG members got together a couple weeks ago at Insight shooting range during the week. I like to go to Burros week days. Weekend is family time.

Any of you long time Alhambra residents remember the name of a gun store on east side of Garfield Ave. just a block or two south of Main St.? They had first Gen Glocks, Tec 9's, Mac 10s in their glass case.

I don't know what has become of them currently. They could still be there, or moved, and I honestly don't know.

But, I have been to that store on Garfield, just south of Main. I'm positive it was Euro Arms. I just used a pair of hearing protectors with their name on it this past weekend. I've never been to the one on Valley, so it's probably same people, just moved.

If it's them on Valley, they sure have lasted a good while. I think it was around 1993 when I first went there. I still remember it was the first gun store I encountered that had to buzz the door open.

Yeah, I believe I visited that store in the early 90's too. Do you recall what gun selections they had?

I'm in SGV although I go to The Firing Line in Burbank. Does anyone go to Bain & Davis in San Gabriel (they recently moved from Alhambra I think)? I bought my .22 there and took a safety/shooting course from one of the guys there.

B&D moved from their old place, which was also in San Gabriel. The guy told me where they were basically moving to. Where exactly is it now? From the way it sounded, they were moving into what used to be the Astro Gym way back. On the corner across from 7-11? I need to stop by and check it out when I'm in the area.
