Default Kimber M82 Super America

I've just acquired an early model Kimber M82 Super America, I'm looking for some opinions on what people think this rifle is worth.....I will attempt to insert pictures but this is my first post so if it doesn't work i can PM to anyone that has knowledge on this subject.
Thanks for the help!

Probably one of the best bolt 22 around.

Looks like in great condition... You're probably around the $1500-$1800 range.

Ah yes, the proverbial first or second post asking for a price. When a few come up, then it's "buy the way if anyone is interested PM me" scheme.
Simply brilliant!
BTW nice 22 ;-)

One of the all time finest .22 rifles every made. Depending on condition, I can see a collector paying upwards of $2000.00. If that scope is marked Kimber, then add more. Leupold made the original scopes for Kimber, but they were marked with the Kimber name, making the scope itself a collectors item.

Mr. 44fred,
I think you have grouped me in with others where i do not belong, i have no plans of selling this gun i was just wanted a value on it from people that had more knowledge than me...This gun actually has history that makes me want to keep it, it's from a family member that worked for Kimber when they were in Oregon which was about 4 miles from where we live, she had the gun stamped with my fatherís initials and birth date, kind of makes it a keeper.

I'm not even sure it's the Super America, the new Kimber company did not have any info on the serial number to reference the model, i was hoping someone here could tell by looks or lead me in the right direction.

003,
thanks for the info, i'll check out the scope tonight...

Priceless with that history. If you sell it you should be flogged.

This one has never been shot since it left the factory, I don't plan on shooting it....She's sprayed with gun oil and tucked away in the safe next to my other non-shooters

OP
Fair enough.
If I had your story, I'd care less what it was worth on the open market.
The gun as you described it is worth way more to your family than any other.
KEEP IT, SHOOT IT A LITTLE AND PASS IT ON TO A FAMILY MEMBER, REPEAT.
