It's an early one too. I'd ask to make sure it either wasn't affected by the recall or had been serviced.

I'm pretty sure RA will still perform the safety upgrades free of charge as long as you will ship the rifle to them. At this price, that is a steal. If I hadn't just bought my m1a, I'd be all over this.

The rear sight is a little different and so is the magwell.I believe the only ones that weren't affected by the safety recall were the RA prefix serial numbered models.Still a good deal and if it hasn't had the upgrades I am pretty sure RA will still do the upgrades for free.Wish I had the extra cash right now,I would love to have the long gas system version to go with my recon.
