Default ~ Any Black Friday - Black Powder Revolver Sales?

re: Anybody Know of any Black Friday - Black Powder Revolver Sales Going on?

Have a little stash of cash that was going to go for a new android pad. Decided . . why bother? Even with a crop of faster tablets on the market as of this week having more screen pixels and all. . . . a whole new bunch of the things will hit the streets again in six months.

Figure that the moola schmoola might be better spent on a nice Uberti Dragoon cap n' ball wheel gun. Haven't owned one of those babies in years.

There's gotta be some Black Friday hot deals on these. Any leads!

Thanks in advance . . .

$335 is a good price!

Have owned both Uberti and Colt branded replica Dragoon revolvers. We always believed that Uberti actually manufactured the guns with Colt finishing and marking them. Side by side, except for markings the Uberti and Colt 3rd model Dragoon were nearly identical except for the stocks and other subtle factors.

Thank you for the head's up!

Cabelas but if you wait about 2-3 weeks the deals will get even better. check out their site make sure you join on email for adds. AS they will send you codes for free shipping. Every year Cabelas gives the best deals on black powder right before xmas. Beats any competitor, midway and dixie cant compete with their sales

If you really nail the timing sometimes you can get a 1858/1860 from Cabela's for about $150-$160 delivered. As an example $179 + $20/off coupon + free shipping. No guarantees of course - the sales might be better or worse this year, who knows.

By the way - Cabelas has a 1851 brass framed in .44 for $140 right now and there's a code for free shipping. The 1851 is supposed to be in .36 so it's not very authentic, and you need to be gentle with the brass frame, but it's a pretty cool revolver especially at that price.

Today Cabela's has the 1860 for $179.99 - $20 cheaper than yesterday. Plus if you give them your email address on the top page there's a $20 off of $150 or more rebate. So $159.99 + shipping, or about $175 delivered. It's possible to do a little better but I'd jump on that before they go into backorder if anybody wants an 1860.

Glad that helped somebody. :-)

Since OP mentioned dragoons I should mention - Cabelas also has a sale on the Walker although it's still $400 (minus the $20 off coupon plus $15ish shipping).

Yep, they dropped the $20 off but added free shipping. Some of the items mentioned above are no longer on sale, or not as good a sale, but the 1860 still is. Kind of the way things will go for the rest of the year - they'll fiddle with the pricing week to week and if you don't see what you want just keep chipping.

Glad I jumped on the earlier deal. With the current free shipping it ends up being 179.99 versus 175.xx earlier. Going to be interesting to watch how they play with the pricing the rest of the month. Oh and my 1860 just came in today

The 1858 just came back in stock and is $169.99 with free shipping. The 1860's back up to $240.

Anyone else notice the ad for the 1 day sale on Monday Dec. 10 on their site? Think it will include any blackpowder stuff?

The 1858's a great gun, and definitely different enough than the 1860 to want both. Plus they use all the same balls, wads, blah blah blah so the additional cost of buying another .44 cap and ball revolver isn't so bad as the first one.

There will probably be good sales next year but I wouldn't count on it this low (I paid $20 more for mine last year) and as you've seen in this thread the deals often only last a couple of days.

re: Monday - impossible to say. I was planning on checking - I'd love a good sale price on a couple of items but I think they're all Uberti which usually don't have the deep sales.

I got the 1860 Colt Army with the fluted cylinder for $199. Friday.
And put in an order for the 1858 Remington at $169. I should get that this week.
Then maybe out to Angeles next weekend.
Who else is going out there?

Dont see any blackpowder stuff for sale during this one day deal. I am disappointed I missed out on the BSA binoculars that were on sale. Usually $100 bucks and they were on sale for $25.
