The closest Cabela's is 350 miles away. I guess I won't make the Doorbuster deals

It's so Stupid why businesses won't allow you to buy the same items/same price Online.
What I don't understand - it's more overhead for them to run a business and probably sell very limited items to those who show up that early in the morning. Also, they will be serving to only the locals. By allowing people to buy online, they will make Much MORE money in saving the overhead and in selling large quantities.

If it was me, I'd rather sell 1000 cases of instead of the 50. Being in sales, I know you make more money in selling quantities...(not to mention, gaining the future customer loyalty).

Its to get people in the store spending money on accessories or other random crap.

Being in sales, you should know why stores always put their best selling items in the very back and/or in the top floor. It allows customers to see/feel/smell more items and get lost, which dramatically increases compulsively buying items they didn't intend in buying. The longer you stay in a store, the more likely you'll buy something.

TRUE !! But it can all be arranged over internet too. We all buy stuff that we don't need, but buy it anyway just in case. Bottom line, Black Friday is a day when most ppl wait to buy their "big ticket" items.... Like TV's, Laptops, ipads, cameras, etc. Generally, electronics is what most ppl buy, and then household stuff. But us gun buffs, like to buy guns related items.... like scopes, gun safe, ammo, mags, slings, etc... We may get a cleaning kit we didn't need, etc. Not too many gun owners out there. So, for the gun businesses, I'd think they should have figured how make our (gun owners) shopping experience more comfortable.... Not to mention, get MORE customers.

There is a Cabela's on Highway 80, in the middle of nowhere between CA and Reno, NV. There's probably a small community around there....that's it. I don't think most CA residents will be driving in the boonies for 3 hrs to get a deal that saves a few dollars. Online shopping is where it's at!!! Anyone who shops Ebay, Amazon, buds guns, or gun broker knows this. I get better ammo deals online, than driving around looking for deals. Figure in the Gas Prices these days, and see if it really is a deal !!!

sorry for the rant, but business these days is not the same way old-fashioned. People have apps on cell phones....

Good deal on the Caldwell Led Sled. Lowest price that I've seen.
Thanks
