Default Is this the only one? RE:rem 700 20-moa mount (base + rings)

Looking for a 1 piece base + rings with a 20-moa cant for my rem700 308.

I know plenty of people run a base and then separate rings without any problems. But I figure if I can get the base and rings as 1 piece, that's less points of failure in the system. I hear good things about DNZ mounts... but they don't have the 20 moa cant.

I found this model by nightforce:

High:
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/297...t-action-matte
Medium:
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/398...t-action-matte

Is this the only one? Anyone use it? Love it, hate it?

If this is my only option, I'm ready to drop the bucks on it, even though it's $233. Buy once cry once and all.

Nightforce mounts are extremely nice quality. The only complaint you ever see about them is that the dropped the NF logo on some of their rings and peopel went crazy about it. Because the Logo makes them more quality

Great product, great choice, great mount.

No, there are many other options.

Check out AADLAND, Spuhr, GDI P-Rom, Larue. Although the Nightforce uni-mount is a great mount.

You planning on running ops in Venezuela? I wouldn't worry about it.

Any reason you don't want to run a picatinny rail + 1 piece mount/rings on that? For the price of the NF base, you can get a nice 20 (or 30) MOA canted 1 piece rail from EGW and nice QD mount from ADM.

AD-Recon-S (or the -SL for a lower mount)

EGW HD rail for 700 short action:

(they also make a steel rail if you're REALLY concerned about durability)

Thank you all for all of the helpful replies!

I'm not really opposed to running a base + rings. I just love efficiency. Why have 3 parts (front ring + back ring + base) do what 1 part can do equally, if not better?

I'm also really more of a "set it and forget it" type of guy. I'm not going to be upgrading the scope any time soon, even if I had the money, it's not really in my personality to keep changing/upgrading things.

Thanks for the heads up about the DNZ mounts. I checked their site again and I figured out why I couldn't find them the first time. When I clicked into the "Game Reaper" mounts section, I saw "Remington 700" subsection and immediately followed that link assuming it would contain all mounts for the 700. That was my mistake. They have a completely separate section for "Remington 700 Long Range" which has a whole slew of other mounts, like the 20 MOA ones you mentioned.

This is why I love calguns, the knowledge here, just astounding. Thank you all!
