Default Need help with Iron Sights

/edit 11/25 Just bought the Yankee hill sights. Was looking at the Troy sights but decided I'd rather spend a tad less.
Thanks for the help everyone. Can't wait to hit the target on the next range day.

Hey,
Tried searching the forums but didn't come up with much. I bought this rifle a little while ago: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/w...layErrorView_Y

(The Smith & Wesson AR-15 ORC)
Can anyone help me choose a good set of iron sights for it? I believe the gas block is on the same plane as the rail? After screwing up twice, buying a front sight that was too high, time to ask for help.

Thanks in advanced!

/edit http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/ARR-5040 would these work just fine?

$231 for buis is ridiculous lol. If my Eotech ever goes down I'll make due with my plastic Magpuls or some knock offs from china lol.

of course you can -- CTD, sportsman's guide and a few other vendors maintain policies that show a profound lack of support for california gun owners. better to give your business to companies that take the time to understand the complexities and limitations of the california market and deliver better service to customers here.

more info in this thread. the choice is yours, as always.

+1 for PA!

Guaranteed that won't be your last purchase there. Marshall and PA are GTG!
