Default Need to buy a shot timer for my department.

Any input? It rains alot here so a water resistant one would be good. Please don't suggest one of the $1500 models, 2-300 is more likely to get an approval.

Today, I purchased a Competition Electronics 4700 Pocket Pro 2 on ebay for $114.00 (no shipping or tax charges). It comes in either blue or tan. Recommended to me by a shooting instructor.

I personally have a CED7000 that works really well ($120). Its small and is easy to use with many features and a decent size memory for multiple strings. You can also by the RF version ($160) that can wireless link to a separate CED BigBoard display ($180) up to 50 yards away. The only downside to this model is that is has an internal re-chargeable battery.

For info surefire makes a shot timer app for iPhone and it is free. Works pretty good, however may not be conducive to the rain.
