Default Wally world Winchester 555 ammo, a review with pictures

Bottom line there is NOTHING wrong with the 555 ammo. In my 22 pistol the hollow point nose gets smashed a bit from the steep feed ramp but it cycles the gun and shoots OK. In my CZ rifle it shoots very good. I posted two pictures of targets. Both targets shot at 50yds in heavy gusting wind that knocked over most target frames at burro canyon.

Just standard guns that turners sells shot at the range.

He is asking if you where shooting standing up or did you rest the rifle on a bench ie sandbag or a bipod

I'm sure it was bench rest.

Thanks for the review. I've also found 555 to be "ok", but Federal bulk is better IMO.

I like the Winchester 555...feeds well and is fairly consistent. That said, I like CCI Blazers first then Fed bulk.

Nothing wrong with bulk ammo. Most shot quite well but its not match ammo. I used to shoot CCI Blazer out of my CZ 452 and could keep it within 1-1/2 to 2 inches at 100 which isnt bad at all considering its 1/2 the price of wolf and SK ammo.

Bench rest with a scope I imagine. Good shooting none-the-less, that bunny's got a freaking headache ;-)

I prefer the Winchester M-22s more, the rounder profile feeds better in my CMMG upper. The Winchester 555s have a slight truncated bullet head that will jam once every 20rd in the CMMG.

555s are the only ammo that I had trouble with in the CMMG - Federals, GBs, CCIs, M-22s and Blazers all worked fine.
