Default 10/22 legal question

i was lookin at getting one of these for the 10/22 i have .. i have a question about legal issue thou it say federal law say the rifle has to be 26in, but i thought in california they had to be 32in in OAL .. please someone let me know if this would be legal in the 26in length

In short: 16" minimum barrel length, 26" minimum rifle OAL-for rimfires-in the shortest fireable configuration. Nice links posted above.

Manufacturer states 26.5" overall length with a 18" barrel.

Therefore, as long as the Ruger 10/22's barrel length is 18" or greater, it will be legal under Federal and CA state laws.

Lol, i thought 90/22 meant it can now have 90 rd mag xD. It looks pretty nice.

I got myself a Henry US Survival for Christmas. The barrel is 16.5 inches and 100% legal.

18 inches is the minmm length for a shotgun barrel to not be considered a short barreled shotgun.

he is talking about reaching OAL of >26 in the bullpup stock to meet fed and state law, with a 16 inch barrel that stock and a 10-22 would be a SBR due to being under 26 OAL

I knew What they said on the website,I was trying to make sure with our crazy laws here ,that it would be legal... thanks for the info
