Eat Dirt, thanks for getting this going on such notice. I thought it was pretty cool they wanted Calguns there. The next Expo they have, the owners daughter said she would like us there both days, we will have more time to plan for that one.

you might want to confirm the date, you say Nov 5, but the flyer says the 2nd and 3rd.

Great event today. The Glock guys were awesome. I brought in my G17 (approx 10k rounds) just to have it looked over. They replaced all the springs (recoil, trigger, and striker) and the trigger bar assembly absolutely free of charge. They even gave me a neat little Glock 17 key chain.

Lots of gun stuff to look at and some pretty good deals. Its well worth you time to stop by if you are in the area.

What a great turnout, quite a few people who were CalGuns members stopped by to say hi and a whole bunch of people who have never heard of CalGuns were there.

It is funny to see a person come off kind of defensive thinking you are tryin to sell something and then you tell them CalGuns is free and full of information for gun owners, they quickly change their attitude and become very friendly and full of questions.

Here is the crew

Check out what rolled up and stayed all day

The Glock guys had a line and were working all day cleaning and putting in updates in all the Glocks that were brought in.

A view of the semi full of guns.

There always seemed to be a few people at the booth.

First let say a Big " THANK YOU " to the Great people at

The Shootist

For inviting us at CalGun to have a booth at this Event
The owners daughter 'Erin ' does a fantastic job of bringing all of this event together
All the Employees treated us like family

We Also made new friends with the other vendors that were on either side of us ( Nice. having the Glock Armorers at the table next to us !!! .I brought a Glock 26 + 19 . Those guys went All thru both of them ,installed upgraded parts . and even put new followers in my mags !! )

There was a steady flow of people all day
Also got to meet some other CalGun Members / Friends
Lots of people were introduced to CalGuns and Lots of people had questions to ask .Another nice thing about being next to the Glock people ...We had a Captive Audience as the line of people in front of us waited to get thier Glocks checked out

Now before I go any further .......I have to give credit to ""Chknlyps"" for making the calls to The Shootist so we could have a table at this event and being there ALL day to work the booth
And also Retired ,, He was there to help out and answer the Many questions we had today

Here's a few pictures ::::

And Our New CalGun Quick Responce Unit Vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it has a Green Sticker for Bee Canyon ..........................

That was a lot of fun as usual. For those who missed it, don't miss the next one! Thanks for the calguns sticker too!

My favorite part was the guy playing banjo on the 'gun truck'. I'm definately bringing my axe for the spring expo, and we might have a little dualing banjos. Anyone else think they can chop heads with the shredders?? Bring it!

We ( Retired ,Chknlyps and Myself ) were so busy at the booth that we didn't get a chance to see all the stuff that was there .

Every time I went into the Store ( The Shootist ) , they had a counter Full of people

This was a Great event for the Area

I agree, I went in the store a couple times to use the restroom and later to get pizza in the back office for Eat Dirt and I. It was hard to get past the counter with all the people in there.

After we broke down the booth there was a chance to look around inside for a moment before they closed, I never got a chance to look inside the Semi full of guns and I don't think Eat Dirt did either.

Thank you mrlonewolf, I enjoy it. This is the 3rd booth I have done and all have been with Eat Dirt and retired. They are great people to be with all day. It was also nice to do this as a new event with the Shootist, I have picked up several C&R's from them and they have treated me great. It was nice that they had us and I hope we helped bring some new customers there.
