Other info: I am posting the add for a friend so thats why I say the guns are in Fremont but I, the poster, live in Manteca.

Hi we are trying to get rid of 2 Brand New 1980's Smith and Wesson Model 31-1 revolver in .32 S&W Long Caliber, 6 shot with a 2in barrel (1.87in). They are 30yrs old new in box never fired or handled and waiting for a new home. Why buy a new classic version of the original when you have the opportunity to buy the original classic. I dont think you will ever see somthing like this again. Feel free to ask any questions.

*I think before selling they will be opened to check the condition* I did find a small rust spot on the gun in the vid below, so it is possible the others may have one too. The one in the vid below, to my knowledge, was the only one that had been opened.

Here is a video showing the fourth revolver of the set, but this exact one is not for sale. This is just to show you what it looks like.

Sorry if you consider this thread crapping, but is it $550 each or as a package.

Nice M31s.
FYI, it appears to have a non pinned barrel. 1982 was the first year manufacture without pinned barrel.
You move the gun and box around too fast in your video, but the serial # appears to start with AB or something which dates to 1982 also.

Best of luck with your sale,

Looking for a 3". Are any of these 3" barrel?

Thanks for the clarification. I desperatley needed the info about pinned barrels because now I have been bitten by the revolver bug.
None of these are in 3 inch, all are 2 inch. (Also video quality was not on par either...) Thanks again.
