Default I am an evil mother and I claim it freely(updated The Eagle has Landed)

My oldest son is 23(almost 24) has had a lifelong hatred of clowns since as far back as I can remember and Stephen King's IT with Pennywise it probably the one that sets him off. One day I went on to his laptop and set Pennywise as his screen saver and then password locked it so he couldn't change it. LMAO!! Yes, I know there is a seat in Hell for me someday.

Well today I upgrade my Iphone4s to the 5 and am sending him the old phone with a twist.

Box with top off

TADAH!!!

My sister says that is cruel to do but I am sure Josh will get the joke. What you guys think? LOL

Good for you!

My kids are so used to me doing stuff like this they don't even react any more.

Too funny!

I was telling a detective friend about some of things my dad and brothers did when I was younger. His only comment (after laughing): "I'm surprised you didn't grow up to be a serial killer."

Can you send that package my way when done. My brother-in-law HATES clowns....and Christmas is just around the corner.

LOL He the other day he said to me "I'm afraid to open anything you send me." LOL How well my kid knows me.

I figure it is my right to torment him until age 27 since I was in labor with him for 27hrs. Our family is BIG on practical jokes. One night Josh and two of my nephews got drunk and thought it would be funny to freak me out. Justin(the oldest 27) has a program on his computer that sounds like there is an inmate trying to reach you by phone. It says "This Placer County Sheriff Dept, we have a collect call from JOSH MORRIS. Will you accept the charges?" This was about 3am and I was LIVID! Josh has never been in jail and it took me a couple of minutes to realize "Wait, you can't call cell phones collect(it was dialed to my cell)" I call Josh right then and there and all I heard was laughing in the background. I swore revenge. We're good at that in this family.

It's ok, he is in KY and I am in CA so I think I am pretty safe until he comes home. That's just the tip of the iceberg in this family

I come from a family where fist fights and foul language are the norm. I embrace that sort of attitude and think that what you're doing is charming, but would still do something like that. At least you know how to really make your son feel at home.

Thats so horrible! But funny, my Daughter hates IT as well, she hates clowns period. My brother gave her a clown toy before, thought it was funny to do so, she took it out and shot it with her mp15-22... lol. To get him back we sent him misc congrats cards and notices on a baby, even though it was just a joke, had him nerve wrecked for a while lol.

My little brother(6'3" 250lbs) is TERRIFIED of spiders. Always has been. We've pulled some pretty funny spider tricks on him. One time we found this hairy little fake spider and I put it on the top of his steering wheel and he didn't notice until he turned the wheel to pull off the curb and it hit his lap and he climbed OVER the console and over my SIL to get out of the car. He's such an easy target.

If Josh doesn't destroy the clown or box, I will most definitely pass it on. LOL

I just noticed today that when you squeeze it, its eyes glow red and it has this maniacal laugh! I may have outdone myself this time...

LOL It's not often that I get to prank people anymore since Josh is in KY and most of my family are about 2hrs away and Bill HATES practical jokes so I have been known to pick on co-workers too. The receptionist at the oncology office I worked at, let it slip that clowns and midgets scare her to death. GAME ON! For her birthday I sent her balloons. Delivered by a midget clown. I almost didn't live through that day. If you hear a blood curdling scream on Monday, you'll know Josh got his phone...

LOL No video on the midget clown since it was about 14yrs ago and no cell video. My nephew though, knows what is coming and Josh is begging him to open the package but Scotty said no and that he will video it when Josh opens it. Although Josh does have a 1911 so there might not be much left of the clown....

The aversion to clowns is entirely rational. Even in the animal kingdom evidence exists to clearly demonstrate that wildlife shares humanity's reaction when confronted by a clown.

An Update...

This morning at 8:45 I got a single message from Josh. Three words.....

I HATE YOU

Hmmmm, must mean he got his package. LMAO. He's says he'll get me back(we always do in this family) and my nephew said Josh screamed like a girl and threw it across the room which caused its sensor to go off and the maniacal laugh and red eyes freaked him out! My work here is done.... LMAO

That was just another way I tortured my nieces and nephews. Did it so well one night that my nephew's little friend was supposed to stay the night and they wanted a scary story. I guess I made it a little too scary because Chad called his parents and asked them to come and get him and even now, 22yrs later, he remembers that story and he never stayed at Justin's house again.
