I haven't been to a gun show since I left my former life. However, I'd like to pay all of you a visit and meet Calgunners in person.

Anyone happen to know the entrance fee/parking fee info and the hours for this Saturday the 17th?

Thanks!

The show starts at 9:00 and closes at 5:00 on Saturday, 9-4 on Sunday. Tickets run about $8.00, maybe a buck more. Parking is (I think) around $3.00. Set up is on Friday, noon to 7pm.

FYI, Dragonfly is on vacation but should be returning soon. If you haven't heard from her she'll be in contact as soon as she gets back and settles in.

That was nice of Rick & Peggy to donate a table to CGN! I won't be able to help since I'll be running my own booth, but we'll see you all on Saturday & Sunday!

Any Cal-Gunners in need of AR parts, stop by and receive a CGN discount!

Although Ivan and 4 cal-gunners supporting the booth were relegated to the back corner of the show, the booth looked great and there were folks taking brochures this afternoon, Sunday.

Excellent work on their part.

We should all heartily thank them. I do.

Thanks guy's.

I also met a young mother buying her first handgun at the show. WOW what a thrill. All women should feel so empowered as she. They should attend a show like this and be better than a Gloria Steinem sniveler by Joining In and Being a Part of Individual Freedom.

I am home and b ushed. Thanks to the support of a our membership we were able to hand out over 500 of our trifold brochures. I tried to offer one to Iggy today but he gave me the slip. I was hoping since he has become one of us commoners that he would join our fight. I guess it was not to be.

It was nice to get out and meet some Calguns members.

And, the drive wasn't too bad, since I borrowed my Mom's Prius. Nothing like showing up to a gun show and pulling an AR-15 out of the back of a hippymobile. It's like saving polar bears and killing kittens all in one fell swoop

It seemed like we got a lot of folks interested in the site. Hopefully they will become registered members, so we can have more voices in the fight.

Hope to see more of you guys next time.

Default Great to see Calguns booth

It was great to see you guys at the Vallejo Show. Unfortunately I was pressed for time and didn't get to talk to you but I was talking to some folks while waiting in line and hopefully they stopped by. Thanks for the volunteers who make the time to do this sort of thing.

We have to keep up the fight.

Thank you Ivan for coordinating the booth and work detail. It was COOL showing people the type of GUNS they can legally own in CA and seeing the expression in their faces.

It was great meeting fellow Calgunners and helping/directing fellow Californians to be more knowledgeable about gun ownership in our state.

I got many 'Thank You' for helping to fight for gun ownership in California and to 'Keep up the good work'.

I encourage all Calgunners to do some volunteer work at one of these events.

Yes, Iggy was in his cammo pants and tee shirt with his belly bag with a concealed weapon of some kind.

Not sure why he felt he needed to bring this, probably loaded, firearm to a gun show.

I found out today that a lot of gun dealers actually like this jerk.

I also found out today I hate him even more.

The state of CA is going broke with government employees raping the tax payer similar to the Wall Street/Harvard-Yale Business graduates steeling all our money off wall street.

Apparently Iggy spiked his salary for a cushy State retirement. Full medical after 5 years. Like 3% per year pension for each year based upon the highest spiked year of income.

He is one of those state employee retirees that worked/raped the system/tax payer.

He is now collecting retirement and again working for the government. Smart man as He is working for another PD that will allow him to collect another retirement eventually while collecting a salary and retirement now.

With his retirement and working for another PD he is probably raping us the taxpayers for over $200k a year. Not sure what he does that makes him so valuable since I was always taught you earned less working for the governement (we now know this to be a myth).

Due to the policy of LE letting soon to be retirees get first shot at retirement for pension spiking he is probably not able to make $300k per year thank god!

I could not believe this jerk was bragging about this retirement thing. He is apparently proud about raping the taxpayers.

He also said he is on the gang task force now, just wish he was gunning for the government employees rape the taxpayer task force though!

I'd like to place my self on as a volunteer for either day for any times. But I don't have a ride down there. If someone near Berkeley would be willing to let me carpool down their with them, that would be cool.

Thanks.

Adding my thanks to all of you for manning the table. There's nothing more I like better than fish stories than gun stories!

My kid had never been to a gun show and even though this was modest to some I've been to in the past, he was the envy of all his little friends. Of course, it was great to have Mom as the bank as he gleefully raced up and down the aisles, pointing to everything I should buy for him. (What a capitalist!)

Glad I'm part of Calguns

Can a person who has never attended a GS go on volunteer detail? I really know nothing, but I'd sure like to assist.
