Default .357 SIG barrel in .40 S&W Sig SP 2022

Anyone ever try using a .357 SIG barrel in their SP 2022 they purchased in .40 S&W? The magazines are interchangeable as they are marked for both calibers, are the barrels also interchangeable?

It is a drop in barrel so you can shoot this gun in both calibers by simply changing the barrels and yes it is that simple. Mine came with interchangeable grips too.

The .40 mags are designed for both .40 and .357SIG.

All you need is a .357SIG barrel and a .40 Barrel and you can reliably shoot both calibers very easily.

Yes, the barrel will drop right in. I have the same setup and it is a lot of fun.

You'll have to remember that your poa needs to change with the different caliber. I think the only way would be to have an extra slide as well, with the correct sights installed. I think the 40 sights are an 8/6 while the 357SIG sights are the same #front and rear (not sure which # though). At that point it's probably easier to just have a whole different 2022 chambered in 357SIG though.
