Default Magpul MOE fixed Rifle Stock - Now Shipping

For those interested, I just got a notice from midwayusa.com that the long awaited Magpul MOE fixed rifle stocks (fits Ar-15 or LR-308) are now in stock and shipping. These are supposed to be A1 length, take the Magpul enhanced buttpad upgrade, and have better storage and sling mounting options than the standard AR stock design. I'm looking forward to seeing how these line up with a solar tactical grip wrap for featureless builds.

Not a whole lot of pics floating around, but here's a slightly better one that at least shows it attached to a rifle. Looks a bit like a sleeker version of the UBR in the closed position to me.

Hard to grasp the picture, anyone find a zoomed out pic with a raid on the front?

I'm curious to see the colored versions.

I don't know if there's a demand for fixed stocks but I have a strong preference for my fixed A2 lower over my adjustable MOE lower.

I really like it. It looks really simple and plain for a magpul item.

Magpul mentioned on their FB page that the LOP is 13.25"
"The MOE rifle is about half way between an A1 and an A2 in length. Uses rifle buffer tube with no spacer."
Magpul's website has MSRP @ $69.95

Picture from the FB page announcement.

If it's heavy like the Magpul PRS, I'm interested.

The nice thing about stocks with storage compartments is that you can always add weight to them to get em to where you want them to be.

It looks snazzy on the rifle but I have no need for it. If I did I would purchase though.

Very nice! I've always like the fixed stock look. The additional attachments options are awesome.

Nice. I'll probably pick one up and ditch the A2 stock on my featureless rifle.

I'm strongly considering buying this stock. DSG Arms in TX has it for $55 with $6 shipping if you use the coupon code they email you(pending you have an open account with them).

Secondly, I love how Magpul integrated the storage compartment in the back end of the stock. I think it'll look sexy on a K.I.S.S. build with carry handle etc.

Ordered one as well. Usually, I stick with VLTOR fixed A1/A2s but this is quite a bit cheaper and I like that rubber buttpad. Wish they had them in FDE as well.

They will eventually have them in colors and I think I'll be swapping my adjustable MOE Foliage for one of these. A fixed stock feels so much better imo.

They have some combinations of the Vltor fixed stocks on clearance for $50 on their site..

http://www.vltorstore.com/clearance-arm-rifle-stocks/

To anyone not familiar with the Vltor it has the added benefit of working on either a rifle or carbine buffer tube...

I love my A1 Clubfoot!

If I hadn't already bought a UBR stock I would have bought this. It looks pretty good. The quick detach sling swivel sockets are probably one of the best things about it.
