Belive it is called Steale Peak. Next to Maywood gun club. If you google directions to Maywood you can find the adjoining blm land shooting area.

Unfortunately, the same occurs at ranges. You just have to be careful when shooting.

We have held a Calguns Zombie shoot on BLM land in Barstow for the last 3yrs. and with the exception of one incident (no one hurt thankfully), we have had no problems. We had 150 people of all ages and shooting experience there at the last one. I would add we also had range officers, 2 way radios and air horns, so that certainly helped.
