Darn right Kris got an Oscar! Calguns members need to understand that Kris is a professional. This WILL help iron out debates of pro gun VS. anti gun. Just the facts.

As you develop this project, please keep in mind that pretty soon politics will start having "discussions" nationally, not just in this state, about "assault weapons". It is only a matter of time before you got patsies like piggy feinswine taking over the media's attention on a country-wide level.

In Colorado today to conduct an interview with Dave Kopel - this film is much more than AR15 and California gun laws, it's 2A across the nation.

CalGunners represent 24% of the donations on KickStarter. Thank you!

$200.00 more in the coffers! I wish I had more funds to donate but need to spread the wealth as to say. But this project is worth it to get the word out to those who just don't even know there IS a fight for our rights.

Go Get Em!

Pledged $75 and posted on the New England gun forum, northeastshooters.com .

You know, if this is successful perhaps you can document the assault on 2A rights in other states like Massachusetts, New York, etc.

Kickstarter doesn't charge your card until the campaign has ended and we reach our goal.

Kris, I Cross-Posted this over at MDshooters.com http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread...59#post1840859 with a link back to this thread and to your website.

You might want to pop in there for a quick visit. This is the Maryland Shall Issue (MSI) Forum that has been in the "Woolard" forefront.

MSI is a smoking forum and organization. Whenever activity hits a lull at my favorite forums I can always count on MSI for a 2A fix. We should have them on board.

Come on people, we can do this.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/assaulted/assaulted

Saw a guy at the Oroville range today teaching his young son to shoot with a Crickett .22

Think about that for a minute and make a pledge to help ensure 2A rights for the future.

From the Kickstarter page: "...Oakland police department and abuses by it’s white police officers against... "

Sorry to nitpick, but you need to use "its", not "it's".

"It's" is a contraction meaning "it is" or "it has". "Its" is possessive. There are no exceptions.

I know nobody likes a grammar Nazi, but if you are trying to get a message across, it's best to do it with proper English.

It's a typo, but I'm glad you caught it while making a pledge. You did make a pledge, right?

Yes, we had a choice of either Indiegogo or Kickstarter - you shouldn't run both at the same time. If we don't reach our goal on Kickstarter, we might relaunch on Indiegogo.

That said, we're trending to reach our goal but we need your help to keep the pressure on. Please let your friends know about our project and share the kickstarter link http://kck.st/OllEYn

Also our Twitter @deadpatriot and Facebook.com/deadpatriotfilms and the project website www.AssaultedFilm.com

Thank you -

Kris

Yes, that makes sense Kris.

If you permit me, there's possibly another angle (and source of help for funding) for this film. Consider what happened just 90 miles south of the Florida Keys in Cuba in 1959. Cuban-Americans (like myself) are "extremely passionate and protective" of their freedoms and you will find a very very large number of these folks feel that any laws that threaten their civil liberties, the right to bear arms, etc. will be met with a great amount of resistance both politically and at times via demonstrations. I don't know if you've ever been to South Florida, but many of my people are lock-in-step in defending the 2nd Amendment and will do so without hesitation.

That being said perhaps you can try contacting groups like the Cuban American Foundation etc. and see what if anything they can do for you and your project.

I have shared as far and wide as my social media reaches go.
If everyone shares this around, it should not be too hard for the project to reach the kickstart goal.
