We can book a private range at Burro Canyon but it will have to be in December.
What you guys think?

Burro had closed down their biggest private ranges I've been using for the last decade, (North & East 1 & 2). Said that NFS made them (no other details). The remaining Private ranges are for rim fire, pistol & shotgun only, and your right on top of the people next to you. I was told (2-3 months back) that all private ranges where booked until October....so nothing may be available.

I'm getting membership @ West End Gun Club in October (too friggin hot right now), they have 24x7 access, so a night time vet shoot might be fun. Need a truck or decent clearance, as you have to drive across dry Lytle Creek to reach it. Would love to help host a fun day out...

We can always go to a BLM. Jawbone(cal City has great places to shoot and set up w/o having to pay a cent and no ammo limitations

I'm down whenever. Send me a PM about the details. It should be fun getting all the vets together.

Where are all these "local" BLM spots? Sounds like Rainbow, West End Gun Club are fairly local, and much less likely to have Rangers roll up on a party.

I always use to go shoot off irwin road especially next to the old mines, you can find a lot of cool stuff out there. Antique type stuff, I found metal tins with titles for land ownership in them. But either way I'm down to shoot some crap and trade some old war lies with other vets.

How many of you are going to the Perris BLM cleanup and shoot this weekend?

We can get together for a little working party and range time. It'll be just like old times again.

Really though, if you are in the area, we could use your help.

http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...47#post9178347

Moving forward, I nominate this exact spot for our meet. Let's say 09/08/2012 All in favor?
