Default TRP Owners: Can you check something for me?

When my slide is out of battery and locked back, my barrel is loose and wiggles around a bit. I also noticed that there is a vertical gap between the barrel and the frame bed when the slide is out of battery. Are your TRP's similar? Thanks.

I think you're talking about the tilting barrel. Completely normal, I believe most semi-autos do that including Glocks.

Correct, and on Glocks it's very pronounced. When I was ROing I can't even think how many people have come to me and said that their Glock barrel was bent when they saw this.

Normal...when out of battery, a 1911 barrel is only attached to the frame though the barrel link and the slide stop pin.

In case you haven't noticed yet, when locked back, the throat of the barrel doesn't come back to the ramp in the frame either. If it does, you have a problem in the making

Thanks for all the responses guys. I was beginning to think that the barrel has to be sitting on the frame bed when out of battery. I just sent my TRP back to SA because of all the FTRB issues I've been having with it the past year. Hopefully it'll finally be fixed when it comes back.
