Under my understanding, yes. It has a pistol grip, and because of that, it is an "assualt rifle". If you put on a bullet button and use 10 round mags: no more assault rifle.

Very cool. Was thinking of picking one of these up but in a Sig version so I could use CZ mags between it and my CZ P-01.

Can it fold with the red dot? No it cannot.
Red Lion Precision makes a quad forend that actually pivots around so you can fold it with the red dot or scope on.

Whats great about it? Well I guess a lot of things but that is to his or her own.

I was looking for a 9mm rifle to shoot for fun, ar9mm build seemed to be a hassle, and the hipoint 9mm carbine was too heavy and ugly.

This little thing seemed fun but it was hard to find. Nutnfancy made a nice review of it online. I believe it weighs about 4-5 Pounds. It also takes my glock 17/19 magazines.
very nice mod's ya got on the sub2000!! two thumbs up! what shop did you buy the sub2000 at and for how much? before the mods and after the mods you did to it?
