Default Can you own your very own FireMan?

Apparently not if you are retired. Govtrack.us reported that HR 3752 died on the House floor. It would have "expand[ed] the categories of law enforcement officers authorized to possess a fireman in a school zone to include retired law enforcement officers."

look towards the bottom of the page:

I thought I wanted to be a fireman because of the recliner they give them upon graduation, but realized that was so superficial.

Santa Fe Springs/Downey contacted me re an oral, but I was already working the jail in L.A., so I declined. I don't like 85' ladders anyway.

I don't know if I'd want to possess a fireman. Most of them I know eat like any two regular people and that could get pretty spendy. Probably has to do with burning all those calories washing the fire truck every day.

But God bless 'em for doing what they do..... so's I didn't have to.
