Two questions, for both the plastic and metal drums:
  • What did these contain before? I am wondering about cleaning them.
  • What kind of opening do they have? (Open top, or bung caps?)

Sorry for the delay, they are 23" in diameter and 37" tall. I don't have any Pict's here but will try to post Monday. The drums for the most part are closed top with 2" bungs. The plastic drums contained sorbitol and propylene glycol. The metal drums contained oleic acid and coconut oil. All non flammable and non hazardous. I have a few back in stock, we have empties on a daily basis. The plastic clean out very easy with just water.

Do you have any metal ones?

If so I would like three.

You can email me at faultlineplumbing@yahoo.com, or pm me here.

I am in Livermore.

Thanks

Would anyone in the Stockton area want to split the diesel cost with me if I were to bring a trailer load of them back? If I brought my biggest trailer I could probably get at least 20 maybe 30 on if I stacked them.

Sammy:

What days in the week would work for you? Does it have to be during business hours? I have to check with someone else before I bring anymore stuff home… but I would love to have a few more metal drums for smokers.

Thanks
R

If it can wait a day or so, I'll ask the Board of Directors down at the Manteca Sportsmen. They might foot the bill for all the gas. nothing like using a drum for drills.

Angel

Dwarf - You are NOT allowed to 'store' your kids in these. If we lived near Niagara Falls I'd be worried. (joke)

Not only can it wait a day or two. If I make the run it may have to wait a week or two. It will depend on the hours that Sammy is available and some stuff on my end. Right now I am swamped with work, the trailer is loaded with some shop equipment that I am not sure where I am going to put it, and I need to check with my dad. I am staying with my parents for a couple months and have a rather chaotic mess of tools, shop equipment, vehicles, safes, and all kinds of other stuff taking up a lot of room at their place. I just need to get a green light before I bring more stuff home and find a place for the stuff on my trailer.
