I got 500 rounds of MFS and my DD doesn't like it. I recently built a hybrid upper that takes it no problem. The upper is JD with FN barrel, and Spike's BCG.

I've tried DD CHF AR barrel with adams arms piston, and all 100 some rounds went through with no issue. I'm planning to test more soon.

My experiences with AR uppers and Steel. All uppers were DI and carbine length with exception to ar pistol upper.

Bushmater AR pistol upper 7.5 inch - hates russian steel. Stuck rounds in chamber, happened early it its life. Brass no issues.

DPMS 16" upper - eats anything.

RRA 16" upper - started to eat Russian at 1st range session but around 500 rounds, stuck rounds in chamber. Cleaning, relube briefly helped, about 100 rounds before next stuck round. No issues with brass.

Daniel Defense 16" upper - eats anything, 1st session, put 200 mixed rounds of new brass, reloaded brass, Tula, Silver Bear, Wolf with no issues.

I have an RRA Elite Comp complete upper with the optional chromed bolt carrier group. Around 500 rounds

I also have a S&W complete upper model 812004. Around 1000 to 1200 rounds

Both run Brown Bear Russian steel cased flawless, and I don't shoot anything else out of them. I don't know how Wolf or Tula run, cause the price between them and the bear ammo is similar and I think the bear ammo is a bit higher quality.

I might have been lucky, or they may all run great with steel. I don't know, so no guarantees.

Delton 16" carbine cro-moly

I've run about 500 rounds of Tula with one stuck case in the first 100 rounds fired. The gun was pretty dirty though.

Yep. Del-ton 16" midlength for me. All it gets is steel case, never had a malfunction. Had it for 3 years or so.
