Pm us your mailing address when this is set up.

we will get the certificate to you before the shoot.

For every additional $500 in donated items we will do one certificate for our brand new unreleased targets. Up to 3 certificates. Hint they are steel.

MrLoneWolf has spoken. For anyone that DOES NOT know him, I trust him with my life. I literally, trust him with my life.

Unloaded Open Carry is fine. Ammo next to it is fine. A magazine in the chamber...no go.
Anybody have chamber flags?

No go on loaded open carry.

Other post will be edited.

.223 per 20 $5.80

9mm per 50 - $8.25 ---115gr FMJ

40sw per 50- $9.75 ---180gr FMJ

45acp per 50- $14.25 ---230gr FMJ

38Spl per 1000- $11.75 --- 158gr FMJ

.380 per 1000- $11.25

10mm per 1000 $17.75 --- 180gr FMJ

38 Super per 1000 $14.50

Its all reloaded lead core, non magnetic, FMJ, brass cased boxer primed etc... im sure most people will be shooting their magnetic surplus so there might not be a point in wasting this stuff, but im sure people will be running out of ammo left and right so these might come in handy.
Are those correct? sign me up for couple 1000's LOL

So open carry with loaded mag on same belt good to go -> NO LOADED CARRY

1000% absolutely no drugs or alcohol during shooting. Everyone coming out to this event is familiar with firearms or has gone to a range or two, same kind of rules apply Alcohol is only allowed for those who are camping out during the night time movie etc. Lets just remember you can have your beer when your DONE shooting

for those who are new to shooting we will have a safety meeting in the morning and go over the main rules too

If I may correct this a bit (the safety rules, the other bold is covered). The safety meeting on Sat. morning will be for all shooters on the line as we will have some important matters to go over in addition to the very important safety rules.

just trying to get a feel if people would like to do a 50/50 type deal, and what they would be willing to pay?

1, 3, 5, 10, 20?

and if we would want to give half to CGF, or take half the anticipated participation amount and buy some small prizes?

give half $ to first drawn, then draw more for a few prizes?

Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated...

Ya, if anyone is going up Friday go snag the shooting spot. It's labor day weekend, and might be crowded with dirtbikers. Last time I was out there on labor day it was packed with a bunch of motorhomes who set up camp at the bottom of the plateu/shooting spot entrance and were shooting guns next to the entrance of the spot to park, and I wasn't able to park up top since they were in the way and ide be in the line of bullets

I doubt if a huge group of motorhomes gets there first and sets up they are going to wanna move

If I can arrange it, I may take half a day off work on Friday, and go up Friday afternoon.
Lots to do at work between then and now, so that is a big maybe.

would it be "ok" have loaded open carry while on the fire line, like to switch from AR to pistol?

and then every where else unloaded open carry?

Thank you for the clarification. I think some of the new shooters need to be reminded of the range rules & firearm handling. As well as knowing NOT to shoot other peoples targets. Thanks Retired, I hope no special dancing this year!

Im not going to be able to get out there until 1800-1830 Saturday night. Just found out I have to work @ Ft Irwin on Saturday. Im thinking taking the rifles to work that day (in a Postal uniform) prolly isnt a good idea. I should be there for Mosin Madness though!

I doubt if a huge group of motorhomes gets there first and sets up they are going to wanna move
WOW this info bums me out, last thing we need is a situation like this. We definaltely need an advance team out there. And if Im reading this correctly they were less than the 100 feet from a "road" or even shooting across a road. I hope we dont have to remind anyone of that, especially if they have guns lol.

I am seriously considering going out Thursday just in case, and setting up camp. We have a team getting out there Friday. Being labor day weekend, it is possible that other people may be there. However, I don't think they will be an issue.

Most campers probably wouldn't get there til late Friday, at the earliest. We will already have people there.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A MEGAPHONE? AN ELECTRONIC ONE?

Vandal., that should be fine. I will let MrLoneWolf make the call on that one though.
