Default Fresh Polymer80 PF940Cv1 Build!!!

Took less than an hour and hey presto! I will say this one is easier than the full size and if you "machine" it right you will not have any issues. I used a dremel tool and hand drill.

500 rounds and still no problems.

It's already imbedded on the frame. Comes like that from polymer 80 now

You have until July 1, 2018 to put identification markings on your home made handgun. After that date Assembly Bill No. 857 takes affect.

Until then, build away!

Thumbs up

Nice! Looking to get a Suarez slide too.

Is the grip angle the same as a g19? I know the full size pf940 is supposed to be straighter, but the compact looks similar standard Glock.

Do the new full size frames also have the metal embedded or is it just the compact ones?

They are coming out with them soon.

I noticed that a lot of companies are fire selling their full size frames for dirt cheap. Makes me think the 2.0 version is coming out really really soon.

What is the 3.7 ounces of metal thing?

I though if we engrave a serial number before july, it can be in the plastic of the frame.

Looks great studiojohn, i have a couple questions if you don't mind;
1. I remember reading w the standard spectre frames that the drills provided were the wrong size, are the ones that come in the new kits correct?
2. where did you buy the lower parts kit? I saw somewhere one that had the better trigger springs and disconnect for lighter pull but can't remember. I wouldn't want to buy a standard Glock lower kit just to turn around and spend another 25 on parts.

Thanks

Red

Here's my polymer80 standard frame. Had to reduce the grip and will stipple soon. Any ideas on what to the with the ugly magwell? I have a aftermarket one i would like to out on but might not fit if I cut off the current magwell

Dremel is definitely the way to go. I've built a couple now. I use the dremel extension tool because it's more precise. That and 1000/1500 grit sandpaper. No drill press required.

Here's my cerakoted and stippled P80

yeah it attaches to a normal dremel and has a 2-3 ft cord. Mine hangs from above my workbench, makes it super easy to use.

I just finished mine, used a dremel and a drill press. I used a combat armory slide and ported barrel. the rest was OE glock.
The question I have is how long is the trigger pull on a stock Glock? I never tried one so I don't have anything to compare it to.
I have done all the usual dry tests and everything seems to work, it ejects empty cases, trigger resets it just seems like there is a lot of trigger travel after the safe lever is depressed
