I know you have my address because you confirmed it and my F2/J1 via P.M. several weeks ago(thanks for responding). To date I have received nothing from this GB. I'm assuming at this point that you guys are waiting for the grips and will then ship all my stuff together. Can you confirm that's the case?

*edit* My jig arrived in the mail today...When can I expect paperweights and grips?

Jigs showed up last night. Now just need grips, parts and time to get it on the mill.

I was wondering the same thing. A LOOOOONG time ago, there was even talk of a video using hand tools and a drill press, but I guess that's probably too much to hope for at this point. Just written would be fine.

Fugov08? Any plans for this?

according to GB#2 thread as of 6-1 Ares claims they had ANOTHER out of spec batch delivered...
so all we can do is keep waiting. not aware of any new ETA they have stated, as if one would mean anything by now anyway.

I'm getting lost in the threads about finishing the frame...Ares Armor has nothing on their calender.

Is there a thread about finishing the frames for the LA/Orange County areas?

ok so I've stayed away from this thread, thinking they'll ship when they ship. It's been awhile, can someone give me a break down of what's going on?

I tried reading the new posts but 6 pages in, everyone's talking about grips and jigs. I only ordered a frame, and I still have not received anything.

thanks.

At this point, I really don't have any interest anymore, seems like such a headache.

1.We have frames, no grips.

2.Gen 1- too thin in critical areas

3. Gen 2 has had two bad batches

4. Jigs are available and have been distributed.

5. Ares sucks

we should start organizing from GB1 & GB2 since there are quite a few of us that gone into this group buy and seek what is the best possible solution, most likely class action. Things that we should keep are records of payment to Ares, all texts, posts, conversations from GB leaders from Ares, and signed affidavits from those who did not receive there complete orders from the both GB's. Keep in mind if we go into litigation not only do we have to sue Ares Armor but might also sue those who produced the frames/grips as well. We all in good faith paid large sums of money and only received half of the goods we paid for which is useless unless we have the other to half. Since it is proprietary only to that company we have no other alternatives.

Has anyone been in contact with ares? Just wondering *IF* they will actually have grips and if they will take care of GB1 before GB2 or just give us the finger.

Anybody involved in group buys and paying Ares for product should submit this form to the California attorney generals office. I'm sure the alarm will go off when they receive hundreds of them.

Best of luck, it would seem that getting a response from glb and/or banana is pretty much crucial. I don't have their contact info but hopefully someone who does will help you out.

Posted yesterday on their site, nothing new:

http://aresarmor.com/store/NewsArtic...4June2013Stock

Rudius

To date we have not received new information. Grips were produced out of specification and were rejected due to quality control issues. The past 3 samples have been rejected. The main reasons for rejection are: (1) Magazine does NOT fit and (2) Warping.

How the hell are we supposed to work with them. Working with someone is a two way street and so far they have proven no desire to work with is except for a getting some frames out a while back.

Maybe they should release the designs specs for the grips so someone could CNC them for us. If their molder can't get the job done then find a new molder.
