I have some remington 700 parts to trade. Most of this stuff is extra from past rifle builds. Looking to trade for other M40A1 parts or M40A3 parts.


Starting at the top:

1-64 marked 4 screw redfield rings. Good for M40 Build

Winchester Model 70 steel floor plate and screw. Good for M40A1 bottom metal

Badger ordnance 30MOA USMC rail. Good for M40A3 or M40A5 build. This base is good, but the rear lug has been dremeled to fit someones action. They did not use a mill and you can tell.

2 OLD remington triggers with bolt lock safety. One is missing sear and spring has some damage to the frame. Other seems to be fine. Both are good for M40 builds of that era.

4 Muzzle brake shims for Barrett M82.

2 Rem 700 trigger shoes ones thrashed the other is ok.

1 long action left handed Rem700 redfield base

1 old style remington 700 trigger frame in fair condition.

1 Timney trigger frame with sear

1 Old style remington trigger that is good to go. Has bolt lock safety

1 short action remington 700 bottom metal.

I had to go to the machine shop today. There was an issue with the depth of the counterbore. We solved that and ran another part, we hand fitted it on an M40A1. Check out the pictures. I releaseed this edition to the machinest and they have started machining. The counter bore issue delayed the progress a couple of days. Again be patient. Historical accuracy, Quality and Cost are more important than delivery times in my opinion. So please move your ship date 14 business days from today. Also, the machine shop showed me thier costs and they are making very little $$$. A couple hundred dollars at best. By the time you factor in shipping an fuel cost, there probably isnt any profit in this run of bases. The next one will surely be more expensive.

The owner of the shop is a combat wounded SEAL and a true hard charging American hero, he is good for his word. We have partnered up on some other projects that are going to go soon. I am sure the M40 people will appreciate.

They are USMC Spec M40A1s Simrad caps for Unertl 10x or MST-100/150s. 1" No reducer. The picture is of USMC ISSUED M40A1s that are still in the USMC Armory. This trigger is a remington old style trigger. Came out of a USMC spec M40A1 Sniper rifle, so it has been notched to fit the Mcmillan stock with Winchester bottom metal. Will work on any other Remington 700. The notch does not effect the functionality. If you need a trigger for your spec M40A1 build or M40 build here is your chance to have one without having to spend money on milling. This trigger was milled with a MILL not a dremel or grinder. Clean cut.
