Thanks, I had just renewed for 2 years a few months ago, but Life Membership for that is a great deal and dollars are needed for the fight. Also contributed to Calguns through the coalition last month.

Well, I just wanted to come back to report that not only did I use the link to become a Life member, I then used nra-2013.org to become an Endowment, and now a Patron member!

Excuse me while I go change my signature pic

That is awesome. Now here is something for all of you Patrons, last year on the NRA convention page the upgrade to benefactor was a little cheaper than the 2012 website offering.

I would say they are behind. However give them a call. Let us know. A timeline here for others would probably be helpful. Surely by now though your member services page would show something like annual expires 2033.

yeah, the nramemberservices says life/active, so that much is settled.

Just expected a new member card (b/c my current one still says annual)

There's a serious backlog (a good thing) I signed up in the last few days of January & didn't get my card yet. I called the number though, and got my member ID right away.

Robert-

thanks for posting all of the info.

I have never been a member of the NRA before, partly because I was working overseas a lot and not paying enough attention, and partly because I thought in the past that a lot of what the NRA said were exaggerations and scare tactics.

But after seeing the gun control groups' true objectives over the last two months, including Rob Bonta's CA bill (AB 174) that would confiscate my AR-15, my eyes have been opened. Our rights are under siege like never before.

I joined the NRA today as a life member. The link above is still good.

Thanks again for posting this, Robert.

Now it's time to join Calguns.

OK, I just took the Endowment "easy-pay" plunge (those bags will look good going through the airports). My goal is to go all the way to the top by the end of the year...

ETA:

Does it reflect Endowment, Patron or Benefactor in the NRA Member's page eventually?

Erik.

Yea it will, they are back logged big time. They will send you a new welcome kit every level you go up, new patch, sticker, pin, certificate, and ID card. The certificates are framed.

I got my email reply right away.

But my question is do I have to wait to get my member # in the mail or is there a quicker method.

Default what did you do today?

I have never been a NRA member but today I am now a life time member. Enough is enough the CA proposed bills are over the top.

I also joined Firearms Policy Coalition today and made a donation.

I had to go through some wrangling since I was already on an EPL immediately after Sandy Hook but mine now says Life/Active too.

Perhaps in the future I'll upgrade to Endowment too, though I think that money might be better spent on signing up others in the present political climate.

The system seems much confused, I just in the mail today received a mailing to renew my membership for 1,3,5 years or life (for 600usd).

Further, a couple days ago I poked the nra-2013.org link and it would let me upgrade to Endowment... yesterday I looked again and it wants me to signup for a lifetime membership.

But yes, nramemberservices.org says I'm already a life member.

Default Thanks

Thanks to this thread, I phoned today to upgrade to Life for the promo $300.
The guy says that they are still honoring the promo that ended Feb 28, on a call by call basis and might be trailing to an end (until next campaign !).

Anyway I had previously renewed for 2 yrs and made several donations to NRA ILA.(have not overlooked Calguns)

Gotta keep this organization going in order to hold the line for the second amendment. Otherwise we get stepped on.

I signed up for life membership two weeks ago.

Since then I got an email receipt, and a letter asking me to renew my annual membership...... An email to member services requesting my member number has had no response.
