I think the system isn't fully aware of my upgrade to life member yet... that link ends up asking me to become a life member for 600USD.

I just switched to life membership in spite the fact I still have over a year on my current membership. Well worth to be on the books as a life member to show the politicians how many life members there are.

Somewhere in this thread it was mentioned that you can check your status at www.nramemberservices.org You will need to create a login, but then you can check to see when your Life Membership is activated and use the other link to upgrade.

I checked at member services a couple hours previous. It did say I was a life member.

but all the same, the NRA-2013 website wanted to sell me a life membership for 600USD.

Just give them a call at 1-(855)-NRA-2013. They may have to transfer you to a "specialist" if it does not show up on their computer. (That's what they did for me and the second person was able to handle it alright.)

Took me about 3 weeks to get my Endowment Member stuff from NRA, and about the same for my SAF Life package.

This is awesome. Why isn't this thread a sticky? I wish I had seen this before I bought a two year membership recently. I just upgraded to a life membership and so they got a little extra money for me, which is fine.

Just did it (Life for $300). It recognized it on the nra-2013.org site instantly, which was cool

Now instead of upgrading to Endowment I decided I'm going to sign up my friends and family for 1 Year memberships. I think that's a better way to spend the money, gets more people involved that way

I'm bumping this because I decided I'm going to buckle down and try to afford Endowment and I think it's important for everyone to see who hasn't seen this

Also if you cant afford to be a life member don't forget about this!

I joined up as well...

I have to admit, I like the symbolism (intentional or not) of the price being 300.

When I signed up, they didn't even want my annual member number... they said the life membership was totally different. Just for giggles, I logged in, and it says annual member. I believe I'll have a new member # when the Life card gets here, and then I'll be able to use that # to log in.

You will keep the same membership number if you used the same address they have on file.

Default This Deal ended today

The NRA operator told me this deal ended at the close of business today.

Sold a gun and used the money to became a NRA life member yesterday, a member of GOA, and CPRA. I would rather use a gun for this purpose than give it to gun grabbing law makers.
