First gun I bought was my Desert Eagle. After getting to shoot one in .357, I told my dad I wanted to buy one. He told me I should get the .44 since "we" already had a .357 (his Colt Python). Glad I bought it when I was young and foolish. Doubt I would buy one today.

in1957 i was 10 years old. i was given a Remington simi auto 22 rifle with a scope. my aunt lived in Fresno and in the summer i would be given a box of bullets and trusted to go outside and have target fun by myself. no laws were broken because back then people were free.

I can't remember which one is mine, the other one belongs to another Calgunner.

Russian SKS, Tula 1954 - still have it. Got it for good grades at the ripe age of 16. That was 6 years ago, I must be getting old.

How I got mine was one day I was talking to a guy at a hobby shop I went into all the time and we got to talking about guns, told him I didn't have one but wanted one bad. well a few months go by and I took an r/c truck in for consignment and he said you still looking for a gun, I said yes and he offered to trade the Glock for my truck. we both were very happy with the deal but I had to wait the 10 days for the transfer to finish the deal.

Browning Auto-5 Light 12

Got it for my 18th birthday/HS graduation/Christmas/all gift giving holidays for three more years. My parents taped a good half dozen cards to the box to denote that it was a combo gift for all those.
