Default Question on my Mosin Nagant

I have a 1939 round reciever Mosin, and would like to know if this date is more rare than others? I have never seen a 1939 anywhere so that's why I'm asking. Thanks

It's not rare, but it's less common than the typical 42-43 Izhevsk 91/30s that you see around.

OP, not a bad one at all.

I personally prefer pre-war rifles as the machining is nicer and they seem to work well with stripper clips--more so than rough 91/30s.

This should have been posted in the regular C&R forum, not the gallery...unless you have pics. '39's are great. I have a '39 Tula.
