Was in Milpitas at 11:30 this morning...still no 9mm or .45.

Picked up 3 boxes of .40. There were only a few left.

Sorry for the late reply...there were only a few left...maybe 5 50-packs left. This was yesterday though and probably all gone by now.

The dept. manager told me that he ordered about 300 100-packs of the winchester 8 shot target loads that they used to carry regularly. His order was approved.

Called this passed Saturday and they told me that they had ordered about 250 100ct WWB 9mm too and they should of got it by Wednesday. Unfortunately didn't happen.

Was able to pick up some 100ct WWB at Big 5 but unfortunately a lot more than Walmart. But getting some is better than none...I guess.

For the time being-getting ANY is better than none. But, I've been slow about buying much of it. I'm just trying to be patient and wait for all of the craziness to die down and things return to normal.

Was there today, around 11am, plenty of .30-06 and .270, some shotgun food, some .380, no .223 or x39mm.

Also went to big 5 when it opened. No ar/ak food, didn't see any 9mm, but there was a few boxes of other rifle and pistol ammo. Remington .45auto boxes of 50 are 25 bucks.

Just dropped by wally world in Milpitas and the shelves are bare with the exception of some 270, 380 and 300 win mag. They do have a selection of 12 and 20 gauge as well.

i've dropped by once or twice a week since the panic started. It's fun now to stand off to the side and see people walk up, scan the case, sigh and then walk away.

in a few more months this will be just a memory and then you'll see the ranges start to experience a boom as people start to shoot off all the extra ammo they purchased.

I have been one of those people who walk up, scan the case, sigh and then walk away for the past couple of weeks now.

I went today around 3:30 still nothing. They did have some defensive .380. Makes me want to get one, just so I have something to shoot...

It's a trickle down effect. .45 and 9mm became scarce so people want to shoot their much more economical .22s. Also more people have .22s than other calibers I'm guessing. So it becomes scarce. Not just expensive but almost impossible to find.

Just at WM and only shotgun shells.

Plus a sign on the ammo shelves that more or less said that you may only purchase 3 boxes/day.
