If your looking for honest (non-troll) type answers, you might consider spending a little time educating yourself about the language, and its consequential effect, being used in your post. You may say we're all uptight *****holes, but in the grander picture, there are legitimate reasons you probably wont like the answer (or tone) you'll receive from a post like yours.
Frankly, I doubt many people on here will take the time out of their day to answer with a list regarding what you're asking for simply because your context is more or less, inappropriate - my self included.

There are no assault weapons in california except the legislatures pens.

Your trolling is offensive to anyone who understands the corrupted designation of assault weapons is a pure semantic ploy on some peoples parts to ban guns.

Please fix it.

Whats the top ten brands of "Weed" in the market today?

Don't get mad at me for saying "Weed" when I really mean Tobacco...its all the same thing and there is no difference between Marijuana and Tobacco...right? Tobacco is a drug, we all know that...so there isn't really anything wrong with referring to your Marlboros as, "Pot", "Dope", or "Weed."

Thats what you are saying when you refer to a CA compliant Rifle as an Assault Rifle or Assault Weapon.

Assault rifles are select fire weapons with full automatic functionality - just in case you do not know.

on top of that many have barrels less than 16" long, fire unconventional ammo, such as exploding projectiles and need BATFE approval to buy and own.

Here's another good one....

Whats the top selling Lion in the pet stores today? Don't harp on me for calling a House Cat a Lion..its the same thing.

@ the OP...If you are going to continue your membership here, you may want to start by getting the terminology correct.

Most animals eat their young out of necessity due to lack of food.

Calguns does because we like the taste.

No need to keep griefing OP about terminology after its already been explained, not everyone is internet savvy to search or "nuts" like the rest of us and spend our time looking up firearm related info.

Number nine: the morita rifle. Its a fully automatic tactical rifle with high powered underslung shotgun for close quarters. Very effective in neutralizing "the bugs" of Klendathu.

Edit: reliable sources confirm that these fine weapons also come with space marines.

Some of you guys need to stop being so uptight and immature. Im sure most of you are grown men so start acting like it. You know what he means, And if your not answering because he used the phrase "assault rifle" Then why don't you guys educate him on using the correct term so we have one less person spreading around the word that gets our guns banned? If you really cared about guns and the "gun community" you would educate and not belittle him. OP don't use the word assault rifle in california. Assault rifle is a fully automatic weapon which as you probably know is illegal in california. Now that that is clear do some research, And make sure you can have it in this state. Next time you post something like this don't demand us, Im sticking up for you but the more I read your post the more I have doubts. You knew that word wasn't to be used here and you continued to use it.

Number eight: The BFG9000. What it lacks as a true fully automatic assault weapon, it makes up for it by unleaseshing a green burst of holy green fire devastating to even the demon-gods.

No assault rifles here. I do however own an LMT Defender SOPMOD but it has a bullet button and is semi-auto only. I also have a mini 14 but it is also semi auto and featureless so it also is not an assault rifle. If I had an assault rifle, Or a favorit, it would probably be an LMT M4 or Colt M4.

Number seven: predators shoulder-thing- that-goes-up. McCarthy's bane. Exile machine has them for sale( not sure about its california compliancy). You may have to put a bullet button on it to get it into california. Probably classified as an aow. All NFA rules apply.

Why is the words AW used in the flow chart above? What AW rifles needed to be registered by 12/31/2000 or 1/23/2001 full auto's only??.Are there legal AW in CA ???If not, that is what it is implying.I didn't live here in 2000 but shame on you people who have and let your goverment pass these laws that effected are sport.By allowing laws that effect guns in general is the main reason that outside dealers don't want to sell to people in CA because they don't want to put up or deal with the bull---t that we have to.Guns in CA cost more then they do in free states and what is going to happen when the pistols are all exspired off the DOJ list cause more are falling off then there is going on???WE need to educate each other and the public on guns not belittle each other. For the post above about calling cigerettes and mari. the same thing, in CA for some people it's just as legal and the only reason it;s not legal everywhere else is the Goverment can't control or tax it like they do cigs

Umm you may not realize this but gun folks are outnumbered 5 to 1 in commiefornia. Add to that the demonization of guns in the media/movies/news and liberal mindset it is definitely a challenge to get any progun sentiment around here.

1) Please google Assault RIFLE and Assault WEAPON.... two different things.
The OP asked about Assault RIFLES. The Flow chart addresses Assault WEAPONS.

2) Shame on you for voting for Obama... Shame on you for appointing Hilary Clinton SoS... see how that works. You want to start tossing blame around, maybe you need to first blame the guy in the mirror.

3) Belittling each other is a fun way to educate. Get thicker skin if you can't handle it. Here's an idea, you tell me which is better, I call some guy a fool for sawing his shotgun barrel to 16" or the BATFE arrest him for it. Which is better. Sure someone COULD simply tell him the law on Short Barreled Rifles isn't the same as the Law on Short Barreled Shotguns, but sometimes it needs to hurt a little to sink in.

4) Maybe if you think about it, the reason I used Weed and Tobacco as examples will sink in...then again, maybe its too much of an advanced logic chain for you to grasp... I will explain.

Assault Rifles are liken to Rifles as Medical Marijuana is to __________. Please fill in the blank and maybe you will understand why I used that analogy. If you were to call someones Marlboro, "Weed", they would educate you on the difference between Medical marijuana and Tobacco. Yes, both are "smoked"...Yes Both are drugs...Yes, both are plants... but the terminology is not valid and makes you look like a freaking IDIOT when you mix the two up. ....they simply do some of the same things.

5) Download and install a spell check please...
