Default An interesting way to look at CA law

I'm a newbie that's been reading as much as can about gun laws in California. I came across this article which made me realize just how ridiculous gun laws in general can be:

http://www.ehow.com/info_7816667_do-...quire-ffl.html

I'm all for safety, but I don't see how these laws have any relavence to safety.
Given CA has some of the worst gun laws, no wonder why so many call our state Commiefornia.

It takes a while, but eventually thoughtful people conclude that the gun laws, almost without exception, have nothing to do with the safety of the public, and much to do with party loyalty and getting re-elected.

There is no value at all complaining or analyzing or reading tea leaves to decide what these bills really mean or actually do; any bill with a chance to pass will be bad for gun owners.

The details only count after the Governor signs the bills.

Not a lawyer, just Some Guy On The Interwebs.
