Default FNP-45 mods, aftermarket parts, options?

hey guys and gals. i got me a FNP-45 off another friendly calgunner and i was wondering if there is anyone who makes aftermarket parts or does modifications to these guns?

already got FO sights from ameriglo. theyre the only ones who make them for this gun. but i'm not crazy about the trigger, and i would like to replace the guiderod with a SS one.

there's probably so few of these out there that no one wants to make the investment to produce aftermarket parts for them, but it doesnt hurt to ask.

cheers

I am guessing it is the double action pull you dont like, very heavy. But the single action(at least on mine is very very nice). My Lyman trigger gauge, shows a sweet 4.12 SA and a horrible DA of 11.2.....friggen 11.2. But thats OK with me cause I never shoot it DA, alwas SA and use the thumb safety.

I would not worry about your guide rod already steel. I keep hoping trueglow will make TFO's for them, so holden out on the sights for now. But your right not much after market support for them.

This thread is useless without pics.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. I just really like these pistols and would like to see a photo.

Bobby did you replace your front sight yourself. I have replaced sights on other handguns just wondering how tight FN's are. Any drama or pretty basic install. I dislike the cut on the front sight, seems to pick up allot of glare. The rear sight is pretty good. I was hopping for a FO/Tritium combo but may just have pick one or the other.
I have other guns with FO or tritium and two with the combo.I feel your pain with lack of aftermarket support, very frustrating.
Good luck with your training this weekend have fun.
