Default ar pistol from 80% lower

is it possible to make your own ar pistol starting from an 80% lower?

legally of course.

There are numerous threads on it.

You have to build it as a single shot and then convert. Single shot means no gas tube and a bob sled or similar magazine.

This is a very basic answer, I can find a thread and post it.

Remember to follow all CA laws when doing so and document the transition from single to semi.

there is no requirement that it not have a gas tube.

SSE handguns are sold everyday in CA with functioning recoil systems. A self-ejecting single-shot handgun is still SSE if it is dimensionally-compliant.

I go with the "better safe than sorry" mentality. No requirement, your right. I just don't want to ever give up my rights to own a gun on a technicality.
