Default Burro Canyon tomorrow

I've never been there and I am going to be taking 3 relatively noob shooters with me. Do they have ear and eye protection available for my friends? What about targets?

Thanks

I dont think they sell eye protection. Just bring sun glasses. They sell those foam ear plugs for $.50 or something. They sell silhouette and bullseye targets.

Sounds good, thanks for the info. I have 3 friends I am trying to spread the disease to. I've gotten one of them to buy a glock already but I have a feeling after tomorrow they are going to want rifles

I'll be there tomorrow for the first time too. Going to be there before they open get a feel for it. I'll be the asian guy in a silver Acura RSX.

If you're wondering about targets.. some members gave me the brief here: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ad.php?t=52039

I'll look for you. Getting these guys together on a Sat morning is not easy - hopefully we will be on the road by 11 and should be there early afternoon. Probably wont miss us - group of 4 in a black Infiniti FX.

Well only one of my buddies showed up, a coworker that is here from Sweden. We made a few short videos on my camera and I put together this video:

Cool.

Here's a vid of me shooting my Glock 35 at Burro last month:

I'm heading there on the 25th for training. Can't get enough of it!

thanks to whoever let me shoot the benelli, that was killer. the only regret i have is not bringing enough ammo!
Were you there with the arf guys? If so that was Ted (BangBangBoogie aka TripleB). I was the guy at the other end with the bad aim and the rapid rate of fire.

I am planning on being there early in the AM for about an hour or so.

I will have my SL8 and a couple of other goodies with me...

Yeah, but it was worth it - two of my strays from the M1 hit Frige's target that he was sighting in on. Nice little dents from the .22, clean holes the width of a pencil for the 5.56, and then an entire corner and a hole big enough for 3 fingers gone from the .30-06. It's ok, the wood was German so I was just reinacting history.

In all honesty, I was SO tempted to ask to shoot your Desert Eagle. I've only shot one in .357 before and I wanted to see what the other calibers are like. Throw in the big pimpin' gold finish and it was just that much more tempting. You really should stuff it in the front of your pants when you're at the range from now on.
