Default Yamaha R6 with lots of extras

04 R6 with lots of extras

For sale is my well maintained 2004 Yamaha blue R6 with lots of extras. Due to my increasing family size and overall lack of time, I’ve decided to give up riding for now. Since last year, the bike has sat covered in my garage only to come out once a month to keep her running. This bike has been well maintained and never ridden hard.

Oil changed every 1000 miles or less (I’m obsessive with changing the oil), front fork’s oil changed recently, throttle bodies recently sync’d, chain lubed and waxed after every washing, coolant changed to distilled water and Redline water wetter and changed every 6 months. This bike was super maintained and runs like new.

Bike was dropped in the dirt at 5mph and has some small scratches on the right side but can only be seen up close. Bike has approx. 16K miles.

The bike includes the following:
• Sato Frame Sliders ($120)
• Two Brothers Stainless Steel Exhaust ($350)
• Scott’s Steering Damper ($400)
• Pale Horse Dual Headlights (no more annoying 1 side only for low beam and “did you know your headlight is out” comments). Dual low beams and dual high beams. ($200)
• Stock exhaust with sound baffels removed and painted black (not installed but include)
• Clear Alternative LED taillights, (never installed. I was told it works off and on so I opened it up to look for a loose connection but never got around to testing it on the bike. Will seal it back up if buyer wants). ($40)
• Rear bike stand (great for maintenance) ($100) and Maximum Chain Wax.
• Dowco all weather bike cover ($80)
• Motion Pro throttle body sync tool ($80)
• Since I’m not riding anymore, med HJC helmet ($200), 1 small blue and 1 med black Joe Rocket jackets both with armor ($300), 1 pair of Alpine Stars gloves ($45).
• Kryponite disk lock (new version) with lock reminder ($45)
• Registration is already paid until April 2008 ($80)
• All documents, 2 keys (1 never used), and of course the title.

That’s $1,960 worth of extras alone!!

See more pics at
http://new.photos.yahoo.com/boost2mu...60762393467445

Complete riding package for $6300 calgunners discount price .
I have title in hand for a quick and easy transaction. Serious buyers only!

SOLD

Let me sell the bike first. If I end up never selling the bike, I'll need to keep the trailer. Its a pretty cool trailer that folds in half and stands up for storage. I painted it black and put reflective striping on it.

Priced reduced for calgunners.

Sounds like a plan. PM me if or when you are willing to sell it. Thanks.

nice bike. I raced the exact same bike for a year. the 03-04 R6 is still my favorite bike of all time (that is affordable).

I love the R6 (IMHO best 600cc ). I had the previous generation R6 before getting this one. It breaks my heart to sell it but I need to take a break from riding and raise the kids.
