Default Sterling L2A3 Parts kits

So Apex has Sterling L2A3 kits on sale for $140 (https://www.apexgunparts.com/product...oducts_id/2307), unfinished receivers are available from $26 to $75 (http://landsden.tripod.com/receivers.htm)

Looks good to me, but how is the conversion to semi usually done? Anyone do one of these before that gcan provide some tips? What's the dificulty level? Anyone else interested in building one of these?

Tagged for interest. Would definitely love to build one of these little Tok caliber (or 9mm) pistols that I've seen for sale outside of CA.

The barrels they come with are 9mm.

Even better. One less obscure cartridge to stock...

fairly strait fwd conversion, if your lucky you can just buy the parts needed from wiselite if apex restocks them..

but for a quick once over on whats needed
bolt mods, drill / machine for striker and remove f/a sear notch, also machine a slot for blockerbar, spring is also modded
tube is orig i.d. with a blockerbar
trigger group must be pinned and welded to s/a only, sear is modded by machining the sides

im tired so i am sure i missed a bunch but here some pics of converted parts
